FAQs

How long will the process of fitting my floor take?
We aim to have all floors fitted within a 4 week time frame, this is from the time you call us to the time you sign off the installation. Once you have called to arrange your consultation, we aim to have a representative visit you within 2-4 days. Once you have decided on your floor, we will send a surveyor within 4 days of signing your contract. We then endeavour to have your floor fitted within a further 3 weeks. This timescale may change slightly at busy periods such as Christmas but we will always do our best to meet any timescales you may have. Alternatively, if you have ordered your floor but are not ready to have it fitted yet we will hold off until you are ready for the installation.

How will I know which floor is right for me?
We will send an expert representative to your home who will explain to you in detail all the floors we provide and help you to decide which floor is perfect for your home and your circumstances.

I have decided I want a new floor, what do I do now?
Call us on 0844 800 9082 and we will take all your details and get a representative to visit you. They will sit down and show you samples of the floors we supply. Once you have decided on your floor, we will send a surveyor to your home to ensure your floor can be fitted. After this, we will send a fitter to install your new floor.

How much will it cost me?
Each and every floor will be differently priced depending on many factors such as the wood chosen, the size of your room, and whether you want extras such as skirting. Call our helpline now to book your consultation where our representative will give you a taylor made quote. The price you are quoted is the total price, there are no hidden extras.

Will I have to pay for my floor up front?
We take payment for floors in 3 instalments. The first instalment of 33% will be taken by the representative once you have agreed on a floor and signed your contract. The second instalment of 33% will be taken by the surveyor once they have decided your sub floor is in the correct condition to be laid on. The final balance will be collected by the fitter after installation and once you have signed off the work.

What happens if there are changes to what is detailed in my contract?
Any changes that may arise during installation will be signed off by you. The fitter will not make any changes until you have signed you are happy for them to go ahead.

I have recently had my floor fitted and one of the bars has come loose what shall I do?
All floors have 1 years fitting guarantee so call our helpline and providing your guarantee is still valid, we will be happy to send a fitter to amend the problem.
